AI Photo Combiner: Merge Photos into One Natural Image

An AI photo combiner merges two or more separate photos into one natural-looking picture. Upload 2 to 5 photos, choose a group photo, a new scene, a product shot or a creative blend, and the AI matches light, scale and perspective so the result looks like a single shot.

Only upload photos you have the right to use, and ask the adults in them before you combine their pictures. Do not use a combined photo to make it look like people met or did something they did not. The generate button shows what a run costs before you start.

AI Photo Combiner Examples with the Exact Prompts

Each example shows the two uploaded photos on top and the combined result below. All three were generated on ViNano AI with Nano Banana at the default 1K setting.

Group photo

Prompt: “standing side by side in a sunny park, both smiling at the camera”

Place into a scene

Café photo uploaded last. Prompt: “sitting at the round table in the middle of the cafe, holding a coffee cup and smiling”

Product in a scene

Mug photo uploaded first. Prompt: “on the marble counter near the window, with steam rising from fresh coffee in the mug”

How to Combine Photos with AI in 3 Steps

  1. 1

Upload 2 to 5 photos. Clear, well-lit photos where every face or object is easy to see work best. For Place into a scene and Product in a scene, upload the person or product first and the background photo last, because the order tells the AI which photo is the scene.

  2. 2

Choose how to combine them: Group photo puts everyone together in one new shot, Place into a scene adds people to your last photo, Product in a scene builds a product shot, and Creative blend mixes subjects and styles. Add a short description if you want a particular setting, pose or mood.

  3. 3

Generate, check faces, hands and edges, and download the photo you like. If someone looks different or a detail is missing, generate again or say what to keep in the prompt box, for example “keep her red scarf” or “both of them smiling”.

Tips

  • •Photos taken in similar light and from a similar angle blend most naturally; a dark indoor photo next to a sunny beach shot gives the AI more to fix.
  • •Start with two photos. Once the basic combination looks right, add more people or objects one run at a time.

What You Can Do with an AI Photo Combiner

Group photo merges the people and pets from separate photos into one new picture, as if everyone had been photographed together. It suits family members who live far apart, a friend who missed the trip, or a team photo when people work in different offices.

Place into a scene keeps your last photo as the background and adds the people or subjects from the other photos to it, at a believable size and with shadows where they touch the ground. Product in a scene takes the product from your first photo and puts it into the setting from the others, keeping its shape, colors and label, which helps online sellers make lifestyle shots without a studio. Creative blend mixes subjects and visual styles from all the photos into one composition for posters, cards and social posts.

How the AI Merges Two or More Photos

This is not a cut-and-paste collage. The tool sends all your photos to an image model in one request, and the model draws a new picture that contains what you asked for. Google describes Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, the Nano Banana model this page uses by default, as able to “understand and merge multiple input images” (Google Developers Blog). The instructions behind each option ask the model to match lighting direction, color temperature, shadows, perspective and scale, to keep each person's face, skin tone, hairstyle and glasses unchanged, and to return one seamless photo rather than a grid.

Because the picture is redrawn, small details can change between runs: a pattern on a shirt, the position of a hand or the exact background. That is why you should compare the result with your originals before you share it, and generate again when something drifts.

Ideas: Group Photos, Old Family Pictures and Product Shots

Families use the photo combiner to put grandparents, cousins or a relative who has passed away into one picture with everyone else. If one of the photos is old, scratched or faded, restore old or blurry photos first and then combine the restored version, so the old photo does not look much softer than the new ones.

Couples and friends merge two photos into a shared portrait, travelers place themselves in front of a landmark from another trip, and small shops photograph a product on a plain table and place it in a kitchen, office or outdoor scene. For a clean cut-out instead of a new scene, use the Background Remover; for a polished profile picture of one person, use the AI Headshot Generator.

Tips for Natural-Looking Combined Photos

Choose photos with similar light and camera height, and crop out other people you do not want in the result. Faces should be large enough to see clearly: a tiny face in a crowd gives the AI little to work with.

Say where everyone goes and what they are doing, for example “the woman from the first photo on the left, the man from the second photo on the right, both holding coffee cups”. Name anything that must stay the same, such as glasses, a beard or a logo, and pick an aspect ratio before you start: 4:3 or 3:2 for a group, 1:1 for social posts, 9:16 for a phone wallpaper or story.

Bring Your Combined Photo to Life

A combined photo can also be the first frame of a short video. Download the result, open the AI image to video tool and describe a small, natural movement, such as everyone turning to the camera and smiling, or a gentle push-in toward the group. You can see how a still photo becomes a video in our photo-to-video example. Video credits are charged separately and shown before you generate.

Privacy, Consent and Honest Use

Only upload photos you have the right to use, and ask the adults in them before you combine their pictures. Do not use a combined photo to impersonate anyone, to fake a meeting or event, or to mislead people about what really happened. Every request goes through the same content safety checks as the rest of the site.

Your uploads are used to create the result you ask for, and this page does not show them as examples. How uploads and results are stored, how long they are kept and how you can delete them are explained in our Privacy Policy.

AI Photo Combiner FAQ

Quick answers to keep your workflow moving.

Is the AI photo combiner free?

It is free to try. You need to sign in to combine photos, and new accounts receive free sign-up credits, 50 for most email providers. Each combined photo uses credits based on the model you pick, not on how many photos you upload. With Nano Banana, the default model, one combined photo costs 25 credits on a free account, so the sign-up credits cover two. The generate button shows the cost before you start, and the pricing page lists credit packs and plans.

Does the combined photo have a watermark?

This tool does not add a visible watermark or logo to combined photos. Google says every image created or edited with Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, the default Nano Banana model, carries an invisible SynthID watermark that identifies it as AI-generated (Google Developers Blog). It does not change how the photo looks.

What resolution is the combined photo?

With Nano Banana at the default 1K setting, results are about one megapixel; a square image comes out at roughly 1024 × 1024 pixels, and other aspect ratios have about the same number of pixels. Paid accounts can switch to higher-resolution models such as Nano Banana Pro. For a larger copy of an existing result, try Super Resolution.

How many photos can I combine at once?

You can upload 2 to 5 photos per run. Two or three photos are the easiest to combine well; with more, describe where each person or object goes. For Place into a scene and Product in a scene, upload the background photo last.

Can I combine photos of different people into one group photo?

Yes. Choose Group photo, upload one clear photo of each person and describe how they should stand or sit, for example “side by side on a sofa, smiling”. Ask the adults in the photos before you combine their pictures, and do not use the result to suggest that people met or did something they did not.

Can I turn the combined photo into a video?

Yes. Download the combined photo, upload it to the AI image to video tool and describe the movement you want. Our photo-to-video example shows what a still photo can become. Video generation is charged separately.
